Food Bank of the Lakelands

Non-Profit Rebrand | 2025

The Food Bank of Greenwood County sought to rebrand with a new logo and tagline that better reflected its growth and expanded commitment to the entire Lakelands region, which encompasses seven surrounding counties.

The solution centered on highlighting the name Food Bank alongside a new tagline we developed: “Serving the Lakelands. Nourishing Local Communities.” This refreshed identity more accurately represented the organization’s broader regional reach and its holistic approach to food access, nutrition education, and wellness initiatives—including its on-site Soup Kitchen.

The new logo features vibrant green and red colors paired with meaningful design elements: an apple and a tomato forming the “o’s” in the word Food, and a fork subtly integrated into the letter “K” in Bank—a visual representation of the Food Bank’s mission of nourishment, health, and service.

As part of the Food Bank of the Lakelands rebrand, a new Soup Kitchen logo was created to represent its community service while aligning with the refreshed brand for consistency and recognition.

We kept the original color palette for familiarity but introduced new tones to provide greater range and versatility.

The program also includes five sub-programs, each with its own icon derived from different elements of the main logo, creating a cohesive yet flexible visual system.
