Barevine

Branding & Packaging Design | 2024

Barevine is a fictional sustainable and organic winery rooted in regenerative farming practices. From eco-conscious packaging to a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, Barevine embodies sustainability from the soil up. The brand blends elegance with a contemporary feel, with visual elements that reflect a deep respect for both the earth and the art of winemaking.

The logo features a dual design: one side forms a leaf, representing the vineyard, while the other side abstractly resembles a wine glass, supporting the brand’s slogan: “Sustainable winemaking from ground to glass.”

The wordmark is a refined adaptation of the typeface Canto, paired with a
friendly sans-serif that can stand on its own or with the logo.

The colors represent the stages a grape goes through as it grows. The darker green symbolizes the leaves, while the yellow and lighter green reflect the colors that emerge as the grape begins to bloom.

The pattern is used consistently throughout the branding, with each element carrying meaning. The leaf represents one half of the logo, while the abstract wine glass forms the other half. Circles symbolize grapes, the house represents the earth as our home and our commitment to protecting it, and the heart reflects both our love for the planet and our passion for winemaking.
